Actor RICHARD KIEL attended our March 5th show.

Richard Kiel is probably best known for his role of "Jaws" in the James Bond films "Spy Who Loved Me" and "Moonraker." Although James Bond was supposed to kill "Jaws" in the "Spy Who Loved Me" Richard Kiel turned out to be one of the best loved James Bond Villains and he survived to go on to reprise his role in "Moonraker." While in the "Spy Who Loved Me" Richard played one of the most horrific James Bond Villains, his character changed in "Moonraker" and he became Bond's ally.

Richard also appeared in "Happy Gilmore," "Twilight Zone" and even "The Monkees." Richard's Twilight Zone episode, "To Serve Man" is considered one of the classic Twilight Zone episodes of all time.

Author and Creature Features host John Stanley attended the show.

For six years (1979-84) He hosted "Creature Features" at KTVU, Channel 2, in Oakland, CA, and it is those fascinating times I have tried to resurrect in the book "I WAS A TV HORROR HOST". I was preceded by Bob Wilkins, one of the most popular TV personalities in the San Francisco-Bay Area from 1971-78, and his story is told along with mine.
Pick up his book and get it signed.

Special appearance by Artist

In the years following World War II one of the major exports from Japan wasn't cars or electronic equipment, but toys, specifically tin toys. Crafted in the shapes of submarines, planes, trains, cars and horses, one of the most popular motifs were toy robots. Constructed in virtually every shape imaginable from the 1940s throughout the 1960s, these toys are fondly remembered by collectors today, and ranged in appearance from horror to science fictional characters. Today, these toys are not only fondly remembered by collectors but are being recreated for a whole new generation! Capturing this period in history became a passion of painter Eric Joyner's, and in Robots and Donuts he celebrates this forgotten era in a series of whimsical, thoughtful, sometimes tragic but always stunning paintings depicting mechanical men and women inspired by the designs of those toy tin machines, often in outlandish and impossible settings. And almost always, with donuts. (Why? Well, who doesn't love donuts?) This book also features a look into Joyner's painting style as well as a glimpse at some of his other non-robot themed artwork.

Meet Eric at the show. He is friendly and very approachable.make sure to pick up one of his signed prints or his book "Robots and Donuts".

Mr.Lobo- Who is Mr. Lobo? Is he friend or foe? Will he save late night television or destroy it? Shrouded in the obsidian mystique of a formless void, this innovative horror host presides over Cinema Insomnia from the regal heights of the finest rocking chair that 1971 had to offer. The nationally syndicated show has been seen in over 30 television markets - The 2006 Halloween spectacular had a footprint of 45 Million households. Mr. Lobo is an advocate for 'Bad Movies'. In fact, he claims, "They're not bad movies just misunderstood". Mr.Lobo has also written & drawn comic books such as Fal Brand Funny Pages, Nuke Nova, The Queen of Trash and later this year, 13 Hosts. He is the mortal enemy of WWE Wrestler Chris Jericho and has also appeared in the horror host documentary "American Scary" and is set to start filming in the Plan 9 From Outer Space remake, "Plan 9" as the character Criswell.
