WE ARE VERY HAPPY THAT ACTORS JOYCE DEWITT & PRISCILLA BARNES FROM THE THREE'S COMPANY TV SERIES ATTENDED THE SHOW.

Make sure to stop by their table and get an Autograph and take a photo with them.

Joyce Dewitt played Janet Wood in the all time favorite TV comedy show Three's Company.

Joyce began taking acting lessons when she was in high school. Although her father was hardly thrilled at his daughter's ambition, she persuaded him to let her major in theater in college. DeWitt soon moved to UCLA where she received her master's degree. After college, she worked as a legal secretary while at the same time going from audition to audition. Months passed before ABC offered her a choice of two comedy pilots but gave her only 24 hours to decide on which. After reading both scripts in a hurry, she chose the one about one guy living with two girls ("Three's Company" (1977)). She chose well - the other show never sold. She had been in numerous amounts of plays before but became familiar to everyone as the sensible, down-to-earth, football jersey wearing, brunette roommate, Janet Wood.

Priscilla Barnes was cast as Terri Alden on Three's Company .The part, which is Barnes' most famous role, brought her instant public recognition.

Barnes later appeared in the 1989 James Bond film Licence to Kill as Della Churchill, the ill-fated bride of CIA agent Felix Leiter, and in the 1995 Kevin Smith comedy Mallrats. Barnes appeared in The Devil's Rejects, a 2005 American horror film by writer/director Rob Zombie.

Legendary Underground cartoonist SPAIN RODRIGUEZ attended our show.
Spain created the first underground tabloid Zodiac Mindwarp. His character TRASHMAN was an icon in underground newspapers. His graphic novel,Nightmare Alley was recently lauded in Time Magazine.

Dan Fogel from HIPPY COMIX was at the show as well.

Veteran underground creator, publisher, and retailer Dan Fogel provides a realistic and very informative guide to prices and how to determine printings. Comprising over 1800 titles and 5000 individual issues, there are 240 pages of listings, prices and photos.

Author and Creature Features host John Stanley attended the show.

For six years (1979-84) He hosted "Creature Features" at KTVU, Channel 2, in Oakland, CA, and it is those fascinating times I have tried to resurrect in the book "I WAS A TV HORROR HOST". I was preceded by Bob Wilkins, one of the most popular TV personalities in the San Francisco-Bay Area from 1971-78, and his story is told along with mine.
Pick up his book and get it signed.

Dan O'Neill made a rare appearance at our March 2o show.
He is an American underground cartoonist, creator of the syndicated comic strip Odd Bodkins and founder of the underground comics collective the Air Pirates.
O'Neill decided to become an underground comic book mogul and gathered other young artists into a collective called the Air Pirates, whose members included Bobby London, Gary Hallgren, Shary Flenniken and Ted Richards. Their two-issue series Air Pirates Funnies included parodies of Mickey Mouse, spearheading his free-speech case in the "Mouse Liberation Front" campaign.

Also, Artist Ted Richards attended the March show.
Ted created several comic strips during my ten years as a full-time cartoonist. Listed below are the two most popular, along with some examples you can read:

The Forty Year Old Hippie represents a large body of work for me, and was very popular in the late '70's and early '80's". The character is based upon some old hippies I knew while I was living in Cotati, California and some autobiographical experiences while raising my daughter in San Francisco.

Mellow Cat: This strip is based upon a real person from La Jolla, California, who was known around Surfer Publications as "Mellow Cat," an avid surfer, turned skateboard guru. Mellow Cat was the first skateboard cartoon strip and appeared in Skateboarder Magazine from 1978 to 1981.

He was a fine arts major at The School of Visual Arts in New York City and studied animation and etching at San Francisco State University. DON DONAHUE made a Rare appearance at our show.
Don was on the ground floor of publishing underground Comics.
His company was Apex Novelties.

In January 1967, Robert Crumb moved to California, where he did some comics for a magazine called Yarrowstalks. His work was so well received they asked him to do a whole comic book, and soon the first issue of Zap was ready. The publisher however disappeared with all of the original artwork. Crumb, who had not only saved xeroxes of his work, but was already halfway with the next issue of Zap, found Don Donahue and Charles Plymell willing to publish it. So it is that the material for the second Zap comic was published as Zap #1, after which the older material for the first issue was printed as Zap #0. All of these have become collector's items.

John Thompson was at our show as well. He is an Early Underground artist.

Paul Allen- Artist/Writer of the comic book "BrAiNs". BrAiNs is about the creepy little town of Creepsville and it's inhabitance. Where everything bizarre, wrong and abnormal are the norm. Where zombies rome the graveyards, monsters creep under your beds, serial killers stalk the streets and aliens invade your backyard. A town where the thing you fear the most may well be your local sheriff! Strap in your seatbelts and get ready. Descend into the madness of our BrAiNs! Little is known about the mysterious Paul Allen. Some say he was kept away from sunlight as a child due to photosensitivity. Others thought something more dubious caused him to dwell in the night after a vacation to a small village in Eastern Europe 1987. An artistic side of him began to fester upon his arrival back to the States. Drawn to the darker side of things, Allen is working on his Horror/Comedy "Brains" comic book. It is believed that Paul has worked on the following comic book projects: The Nose Ninja, Dox Paradox, Slam Bang. This has not been confirmed nor denied. Paul will be available for commissions of disturbing images. www.myspace.com/brainscomic
